How to boil dried noodles

plenty of water with large pot and bring in to the boil.

stir the noodles lightly with chopsticks to keep them from sticking to each other.

when the boiling water reaches up to the edge of the pot, either put in some cold water or reduce the heat.

when the noodles are cooked to an adequate firmness, rinse then under cold running water, rubbing them vigorously to remove surface starch.
